1. What we collect
- Account data — your name, email, phone (optional), company (optional), and role.
- Receipt content — the images you upload and the fields extracted from them (merchant, TIN, dates, amounts, tax breakdown, line items, and any custom fields you add).
- Payment data — records of your credit purchases (amount, status, reference). Card and e-wallet details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us.
- Usage data — basic technical logs (e.g. request identifiers and timestamps) used to operate and secure the Service.
2. How we use it
We use your data to:
- provide the Service — extract, store, and display your receipts;
- process purchases and maintain your credit balance;
- send transactional email (verification, receipts, notices);
- secure the Service and prevent abuse; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data or your receipts.
3. Service providers
We share the minimum necessary data with providers that help us run the Service:
- Authentication — manages sign-in and sessions.
- AI extraction — receipt images/text are sent to our AI provider to read the receipt. They are processed to return the extraction, not to build a profile of you.
- Payments — processes your purchases securely.
- File storage — receipt images are stored in private cloud object storage; the app serves them through short-lived signed links, never public URLs.
- Email delivery — sends our transactional email.
4. Retention
We keep your account and receipt data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal or tax-record obligations. You can delete individual receipts at any time; deleting your account removes your data except where we are required to retain it.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures — encrypted transport, private storage with signed access, scoped access controls, and rate limiting. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to incidents.
6. Your choices
- access and update your profile from account settings;
- delete receipts you no longer want stored;
- request account deletion; and
- opt out of non-essential email where offered.
7. Cookies and sessions
We use cookies strictly to keep you signed in and to operate the Service securely. We do not use them for third-party advertising.
8. Children
The Service is intended for use by adults and businesses, and is not directed to children under 13.
